Jack Knoxville is an award winning, multi-racial, Disabled, Trans Activist & Digital Strategist whose work focuses on building power for marginalized communities.

In 2015, Jack became the first trans-man to run for political office in the Southern United States and since founded a non-profit known as Trans Empowerment Project.

Trans Empowerment Project is one of the largest providers of direct aid for the Queer, Trans, and Intersex communities nationwide.

Jack has also worked for the Planned Parenthood Action Fund, as a digital organizer, and is the current Distributed Organizing Technology and Digital Communities Manager for Sierra Club.

When they're not working on swatting down white supremacy, Jack can be found watching Doctor Who, experimenting with art and music, or spending time with his family.

This presentation was a discussion on what intersectionality is and how our identities impact the ways each of us show up and are received in the world around us.
This conversation encouraged audience members to examine their own identities and biases, as they begin to show up as equitable leaders in their own communities.
