Jared Ailstock is a New York artist, born in January 15, 1970, in New York, USA. He specializes in portraiture and collage.

He is a self-thought artist. Ailstock began practicing painting while he was recovering from an arm injury in his 20s. He became known as a portrait painter in the late 1990s, exhibiting frequently at the New York Art Gallery. His best-known work includes a portrait of Jared Ailstock currently lives with his family in London, where he has his studio.

He holds a Bachelor’s of Arts Degree in Fine Arts from the City University of New York.
