Bio

James is a trans man who helps companies better serve and protect LGBTQ+ employees. He uses empathy, story telling, and provides tools to create a safe learning environment for CEO's, HR, employees, and even Realtors. Working with companies like Lyft, Del Monte, Twilio, Comcast, and many more.

James uses storytelling keynote speeches to meet the company and individuals where they are. He also speaks on the wisdom he's learned from transitioning in regards to mental health and coping skills. He recently was featured in Business Insider. He has been a public speaker for more than 20 years, loving public speaking since he was a teenager.

LGBTQ+ Understanding and Empathy

A one hour workshop diving into the terms, intersecting identities, and ways that LGBTQ+ individuals are impacted, specifically Transgender and Non-Binary individuals. It includes tools and actions companies can implement right away to make a safer work space. It ends with a 15 minutes Q&A.

What My Transition Taught Me

A keynote speech about the mental breakdown I had in 2017 after transitioning and realizing how few coping skills we are given. When society focuses on hormones, surgeries, and name changes, we actually need to build a foundation of self awareness first. It covers the journey I went on to learn more about coping and talking to other Transgender individuals who didn't feel prepared in their transition either. The wisdom is applicable for any transition in life and has changes the lives of a variety of people.

Speaking at Gong, James answered questions from an employee who interviewed him about being Trans, how others can be more empowered on the subject, and the ways we can learn from his transition. One attendee said it was the best Gong event they've ever been to!
