Bio

If you ever thought there was more to life, you were right. To this end, Ishmael brings thought-provoking insights to help people turn their crises into opportunities, engage in ongoing transformation, and make sense of their transitions so that they can find and live out their faith-filled purpose. He brings a rich multicultured perspective to the western experience with an authentic African flavor. As one of four boys, raised by a single mother in a male-dominated, traditionally centered West African country, he assisted his mother, from selling spices on the streets to creating multimillion-dollar businesses as a teen.

Inspired by his faith, he left a thriving life in Cameroon for the USA to discover the blueprint for fulfilling a God-given destiny. For over 12 years, he has learned tools and insights necessary for doing so in different spheres of influence. He pulls on a wealth of knowledge, life experiences, misfortunes, identity issues, association with diverse people, families, professions, and organizations and the challenges of pursuing life, love, and profit in the West. Whether you are already successful or just starting out, his goal is to help you articulate your purpose, develop it and fortify the infrastructure that support holistic success so that you can transform your life, transform your business, transform your world, and fulfil your purpose in the marketplace.

Ish'mael is a John Maxwell Certified Speaker, Coach, and Trainer who also speaks on Leadership, Communication, and Growth. He also covers men's issues, personal development strategies, and spiritual disciplines, just to name a few.

His vulnerable, interactive, and storytelling approach, coupled with his passion and humor make him a speaker that can relate to nearly any audience. He is a manager in the Asset Management field and a Director of Consular Services International, a diplomatic consulting company. He holds a BBA in Accounting with an MA in Negotiation and Confliction Resolution. In 2018, he received a certificate of congressional recognition for providing mediation training to the Florence-Firestone Community Leaders. He recently received a Diploma from Adullam RCN Theology Seminary. He enjoys reading, traveling, and movies.

Developing Your Destiny

If you ever thought there was more to life, you were right. But turning this epiphany into a reality is a challenge. Between discovering your destiny, whether it is starting a business, switching roles or industries, creating a prototype, running for office, inventing something new, are people, crises, transitions, fears, decisions, unseen spirit forces trying to derail you or keep you from making the first or the next move. To help navigate the calling, Ishmael shares the logistics and nuances of faithfully navigating the calling.

Based on the contents of his book, "The God Experiment: The Art of Developing Your Destiny (Book I)," Ishmael shares real life edge-of-your-seat stories, conversations, questions, insights, and templates for finding, developing, articulating, and deploying one’s God-given destiny.

Healing a Broken Home

Ish’mael shares how to heal a broken family and move on to develop its destiny with faith, grace, words, and actions. This is based on his story that describes his journey and how he brought a generationally broken family to a place of healing, reconciliation, united purpose, and on to a point where they are celebrating the second family reunion in 2024 in the family’s known history.

Furthermore, he shares:
- The nuances and intricacies of the problems that fostered ongoing vices within his family.
- Explores the proliferation of the problems from a generational and inter-family standpoint.
- Outlines with specificity the impact of these problems on the mindset, lifestyle, and choices of family members and family thought.
- Details the hard conversations that were had, how, and why.
- Details the inspiration and reasonings behind each decision he took to foster healing.
- Backs it up with authoritative references both biblical and sociological.

and much more

Overcoming the Struggles of Growing up without a Father

Based on the content of his book, "For Boys in Men's Bodies: Overcoming the Struggles of Growing up without a Father," Ish’mael shifts the focus from the facts to the people going through the ringer of daddy issues from teens to adults. He uses his story as a sounding board and his growth journey as a platform to unpack transformational thoughts, ideas, mindsets, and frameworks to help others facing fatherless challenges overcome some of the challenges they face. While most people, especially boys and young men, are likely to face numerous life challenges because of the lack of father power, an intentional journey of growth and transformation can veto any background. To help normalize the struggles and alleviate the pain, Ishmael synthesizes his understandings into two simple models which he personally uses to engage in spiritual, mental, relational, financial, and physical transformation.

Ways and Thoughts of God

Dealing with humans is already hard as it is. Dealing with a diverse race and group of people with profoundly challenging. To deal with people we engage in a kind of training. We call it emotional intelligence. The result of this intelligence is improved connections, better work performance, and healthy relationships.

However, dealing with a spirit is beyond all that. God is spirit and desires people to worship him in spirit and truth. He is a spirit, yet he is a father and wants to connect with his children that way. He is a spirit, yet he is a friend, judge, and more. Relating with this ancient spirit to fellowship and receiving enablement to live a supernatural life could be a challenge if you subscribe to the faith. This spirit has his own ways and his own thoughts, and he is more ambitious than we are. To relate with him, it takes more than emotional intelligence. It takes spiritual intelligence.

WhWhy do – they- prosper while I am not though I do all the right things?

While the question “why do they prosper, and I don’t?” appears to be a single question, it is a three-part cry for help. Instead of just answering the question, Ishmael answers the person often using his own experience and several counsel sessions with others to relate. Gleaning from his experience, conversations, research, and a soon to be published manuscript, Ishmael offers insightful perspective that sheds light on the issues and equips the listener with wisdom capsules, synthesized into practical reflective actions they can easily act on. Attendees can expect to be heard, have their questions addressed in the presentation, and empowered with refined wisdom and simple frameworks to deploy what they learn.

Inspiring Future African Leaders and Shaping Africa's Future

To give future African leaders space to think, to live and breed innovation, as well as brainstorm what reform could look like, Ishmael proposes three things to be used as a point of reference, one that:

- Converges and enables a focused discussion of ideas from three groups of stakeholders.
- Encourages a discussion of values and interests for creative problem solving.
- Mitigates the perceptive disparity among different groups of stakeholders.
- Engages citizens and their conversations in every aspect of the nation building process.
- Inspires stakeholders to craft a radiant vision that is easily understood and can be reproduced.
- A vision that can be used to construct measures for tracking ongoing communication, implementation, and development of the vision.

These ideas will inspire active and passive stakeholders and equip young African leaders, the future leaders of Africa, to think differently.
