I am a regular Venezuelan girl who decided to start her own business at the age of 24, as always against all odds. I borrowed money I did not have a clue how I would paid off BUT I know I will to buy some clever things I thought were the next generation to create marketing adds. It worked and I paid if off.
It all started with someone who gave me the opportunity to design some new business cards for his business... 5 years later after losing my business twice, once in Venezuela and then in Panama we are now in three countries, we are a #TeamOfExperts transforming small business into leading companies in America.
And as much as I could go on and on with this amazing story my story to share and uplift others is not about how proud I am to have built a business from scratch with zero money at the bank. Is about PEOPLE and CONNECTIONS and learning to create really meaningful relationships with others based real responsibility on both sides. My story is about leading with RESPONSIBILITY on both ends to create a relationship with team members, clients, my husband, my siblings, my family, my community... based on power on both sides that leads to mutual responsibility, durable connections, trust and respect.
The only way to be a true entrepreneur and survive the ups and downs comes from building a network of real trust. And that can only be achieved by sharing the loads of responsibility and power with all.
I am passionate about entrepreneurship. I can always see a gift someone has to do an specific task. And even when technically entrepreneurship is mostly related to business ecosystems I think we can create INTRA-preneurs in our families, communities, companies in all. Because is about putting a seed of commitment in someones hands and let it grow.
Is that seed is set into the right passionate hands it will grow if it´s not it will be forgotten in time.
See, we only focus in what we care and are passionate about, so that is my second learning to share: Everything is connected.
It goes from sharing the responsibility that comes with power with the right people. Everyone makes mistakes, that´s necessary to learn, however only the ones committed and passionate about that specific task will take responsibility from the outcomes. The rest will just forget or simply make excuses.
So ¨time and Focus¨are only well applied by those really committed and if we do not learn how to identify the ¨really committed ones¨ everything could be jeopardized. It is all connected.
My story is about people. My story is about entrepreneurship. My story is about passion.
My story is about real power that only comes with the willingness to take responsibility and when we are responsible everything connects and leads to success.
