Detroit resident Imad Ghennouni moved to the city from Bahrain with his family at the age of three. He formerly worked in the corporate world, in fields including business, financial services, and sales, but has spent the past 15 years in the role of motivational speaker. Imad loves the opportunities that this gives him to help people realize their personal and professional aspirations.

When he’s not working, Imad Gennouni enjoys many different hobbies and interests including cycling, walking, gardening, playing chess, reading, writing, and playing the guitar. He also loves to cook, especially the traditional Bahrani cuisine that his mother taught him to prepare. His favorite dish to make is machboos, the Bahrani national dish. This one-pot meal is a blend of basmati rice and tenderly cooked meat (traditionally lamb or chicken) which is steeped in spices including coriander, cumin, cardamom, and cinnamon.
