Iffy Ibekwe

I have over 13 years of public speaking experience and have presented at dozens of events from small workshops to large multi-day conferences. I have also appeared on legal podcasts and local radio, including Austin’s NPR station. Recently, Austin Black Business Journal magazine named me one of Austin’s Up and Coming Lawyers in 2019.​

As a licensed attorney, much of my work includes legal education. In that capacity, I distill complex legal topics in a fun, bite-sized way that everyday people could easily understand.

I now devote my time to practicing law and speaking on stages of aligned events.

I have been happily married to my husband, Chi, for eight years. We have one son and two daughters. We live in Austin, Texas. When not spending time with my husband and three children, I lead the We Read Her book club, which is dedicated to the study and discussion of female-authored literature.
