David Solomont is the Chairman and CEO of ev Transportation Services, Inc ("evTS"). He founded this company in May 2015.
As an experienced investor and advisor, David Solomont dedicates on investing and providing advisory services to early stage companies. Some of the advisory services he provides, include business development, funding, mergers and acquisitions, and team building.
Solomont has a 4-decades-long experience which encompasses working in the technology, software, gaming, media, and transportation industries.
Solomont’s areas of expertise include business development, e-commerce, entrepreneurship, strategic planning, and venture capital.
Solomont has held positions in different companies and institutions, such as a Overseer and member of the Information Technology Committeet the Museum of Science in Boston, as a founding Trustee and past Chairman at the Massachusetts Technology Leadership Council, a Technology Advisor to the Internet Working Group at the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston.
Solomont has also founded Common Angels, one of the first USA institutionalized angel groups, in 1998. He served as its Chairman and CEO until 2004.
Furthermore, since November 2018, Solomont serves at the Chairman of OYO Toys.
David Solomont has a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from the Tufts University and a Master’s Degree in Management from the MIT’s Sloan School.
