As an historical instructor for Tri-C Community College, he taught the history of Ohio's Underground Railroad focusing on the controversial theological aspect, and the topic of the Slave Bible. Coming from a strong organized AME Church up-bringing, he focuses on transferring pulpit sermons into community action.
