Bio

Heidi is an innovative and strategic HR leader with 20+ years of experience transforming people and culture across diverse industries. As VP, Customer & People Experience at LearnExperts, she helps organizations convert existing content into high-impact training through LEAi, the company’s flagship AI-powered tool.

Wearing many hats—Customer & Employee Experience, AI enthusiast, executive advisor, mentor, career coach, community builder, connector, and investor—Heidi brings a holistic lens to every conversation. She has built three HR departments from the ground up, founded her own consultancy, and served as the inaugural HR executive at three organizations—making her a true HR differentiator.

Known for her bold, human-first approach, Heidi’s work has earned accolades including WBN’s 2022 Businesswoman of the Year (Community Impact) and Algonquin College’s 2020 Alumni of the Year (Business). She holds designations like the Certified Human Resources Executive, Certified Human Resources Professional, Canadian Certified Inclusion Professional , and is a Certified Coach Practitioner.

A passionate community builder, she actively supports a number of organizations including the Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario, Open Collaboration for Cognitive Accessibility, Algonquin College, Hire Local Ottawa, and Hire Immigrants Ottawa.
