Bio

Heather Buchanan is a producer, publisher and musician. Founder of Willow Books, Buchanan oversees a mission to develop, publish and promote writers of color. Her LitFest series streams broadcasts of authors of color online. Buchanan is also the founder of AUXmedia, a film production company. A former Business Development Specialist for APR of London, Buchanan is the Executive Producer of The Remembrance Project, a multimedia and musical series. A Fellow of the Society for American Music, Buchanan is a composer and violinist with the Detroit Symphony Orchestra's Community Ensemble.
