AUTHOR| SPEAKER | ADVOCATE FOR LEARNING-DRIVEN LEADERSHIP

Hannah Brown is a sought-after speaker, author, and advocate for learning-driven leadership. With over 25 years of experience in leadership and learning development, she helps organizations shift away from one-off training and toward building everyday learning into the fabric of how teams work and grow.

Hannah is the author of Into the Hands of Leaders: Employee Growth through Learning, a compelling call to action for leaders to move beyond formal programs and take ownership of their team’s development. Her work challenges the idea that learning belongs solely to the training function and instead positions learning as a powerful leadership tool that fosters trust, growth, and resilience.

Through keynotes, workshops, and leadership development programs, Hannah equips leaders with practical tools to embed learning into daily interactions. Her sessions are grounded in research, rich with real-world examples, and always focused on action, so participants leave inspired and ready to lead differently.

Whether speaking to executives, HR professionals, or team leaders, Hannah helps audiences reimagine what leadership looks like in today’s fast-moving world: not command-and-control, but curiosity, courage, and a commitment to growth. She brings warmth, clarity, and a coach’s mindset to every engagement.

Hannah is also the creator of the Lead, Learn, Grow conversation cards and host of the Growth through Learning podcast, resources designed to help leaders start meaningful conversations and create team cultures where learning thrives.

More than a Paycheque: Why Growth, Not Perks, Drives Engagement

Engaging workplaces don’t just offer perks, they foster growth. In today’s fast-changing environment, employees want to be part of organizations that invest in their development and support their long-term success. This presentation explores how to integrate learning into daily work in ways that keep employees motivated, adaptable, and connected to their team’s goals. Drawing on insights from my book, Into the Hands of Leaders, I show how leaders at every level can cultivate a learning-driven culture that increases trust, improves retention, and helps employees thrive through change. This talk inspires leaders to move from managing performance to growing potential - one conversation, one moment of learning at a time.

Make Meetings Matter: Turn Everyday Conversations into Growth Opportunities

Meetings are often seen as a time drain, but they’re actually one of your best tools for employee growth. In this presentation, I show how to transform ordinary meetings into high-impact moments of learning, collaboration, and connection. Participants walk away with simple, practical strategies to make their meetings more engaging and development-focused. They’ll learn how to shift from information-sharing to curiosity-building, and how to use questions and reflection to spark team learning. This session is ideal for managers, team leaders, and HR professionals looking to make every meeting count.
Includes a copy of my Lead, Learn, Grow conversation cards for each participant.

Beyond Training: Create a Culture Where Learning Sticks

Traditional training has its place, but real growth happens when learning becomes part of everyday work. Based on my book, Into the Hands of Leaders, this presentation offers a bold reframe: learning isn’t the responsibility of the training team alone; it’s a leadership practice. It challenges audiences to rethink where and how learning happens, and to envision a workplace where development is continuous, not occasional; embedded, not siloed. Participants gain actionable strategies to create a culture of learning that drives performance, innovation, and engagement. Ideal for L&D professionals, HR leaders, and executives ready to move beyond one-off programs and build the conditions where learning can thrive.
