Bio

At Grace Counseling & life Restoration founder and CEO Gwendolyn Onuoha has sixteen years of experience in the social service and mental health field. She has worked as a drug and alcohol counselor, a child and adolescent therapist, adult therapist, school counselor and currently a facilitator for trainings on social emotional issues. Gwendolyn is certified to teach anger management as well as parenting classes. She has performed an exceeding amount of trainings and groups on topics such as anger, social/emotional development, cultural competency, relationships with adolescents and more and adults. It is Gwendolyn's goal to utilize her skills to gracefully coach and restore lives.

This training gives adults some insight as to why teens runaway and help adults take preventative action to decrease and prevent them from running away.

Adolescents and Suicide/Cutting Behaviors

This training discusses the warning signs of suicide ideations and cutting behaviors as well as the difference between the two and how to address it and help adolescents through it.

How to deal with Critisicm

This training discusses the different types of criticism and how each types effect us as individuals. This training gives tools on how to effectively cope with criticism as well as touches on what makes people so critical to began with.

How to overcome emotional struggles

This training discusses emotions, what effects our emotions, how to manage our emotions and what to do if our emotions are out of control. This training is designed to give individuals control over their emotions.

How to effectively communicate

This training discusses the different types of communication and helps individuals identify which type of communicator they could be. This training also discusses the different skills of being a good communicator and the difference between effective and ineffective communication. This training is designed to teach individuals how to effectively communicate and have success in their lives.
