Greta Franklin Okomo is the founder and CEO of Collaborative Change Consulting, LLC. Greta has nearly 20 years of experience driving leadership and diversity and inclusion initiatives for higher education institutions and nonprofit organizations.

Greta has served in leadership roles at several higher education institutions, including Virginia Commonwealth University, University of Mary Washington and Illinois Wesleyan University.

Greta has expertise in facilitation, leadership training, diversity and inclusion training, multicultural leadership development and cultural change management.

Greta works with individuals and organizations to develop leaders, implement change initiatives and cultivate more inclusive work environments.

This session will review the concept of respect and how culture, personal experiences and intercultural communication styles impact one's view of respect and provide strategies to foster respect in a multicultural work team.

Personal Storytelling: A Tool for Workplace Inclusion

Personal storytelling is an effective way to gain a better understanding of the values, motivations and diverse perspectives of members of your team. In this interactive session, participants will engage in storytelling activities and learn strategies to use personal storytelling to create a more inclusive work environment.

Cultivating an Inclusive Workplace

This interactive session will provide an overview of inclusive leadership, highlight the benefits of inclusive leadership, address issues that impede cultivating an inclusive workplace and provide strategies for implementing inclusive practices into the workplace.
