Gerry Falletta

In his role, Girolamo "Gerry" Falletta focused on personal injury litigation, overseeing business operations at the firm as well. His expertise spanned all facets of personal injury litigation, including discovery, motion practice, mediation, and trials. Falletta's educational journey was extensive. He earned a BA in Political Science from York University, Toronto, followed by a paralegal diploma from Seneca College in 2003 and a law degree (LL.B.) from Osgoode Hall Law School in 2012. Osgoode, known for its competitiveness and an acceptance rate of just eight percent, is a hub for significant legal publications and initiatives.

Before joining Centennial Law Group LLP, Gerry worked as a partner and paralegal at Affirm Paralegal Services in Hamilton. Here, he managed a full caseload in litigation and pre-litigation cases, predicting potential case outcomes and developing strategies with lawyers. His responsibilities included drafting and filing legal documents such as motions, demand letters, and subpoenas. His early career began at Simpson Wigle Law LLP in Hamilton, where he gained a robust understanding of the legal practice's intricacies by providing support to personal injury lawyers and interacting with a range of legal and medical professionals.

Family is central to Falletta's life. He is a dedicated father to two children and takes care of his elderly mother, who has Parkinson's disease. His deep connection to his Italian heritage is evident in his active volunteer work within the Italian Canadian community of Hamilton and his support for local soccer clubs.

Additionally, Gerry contributes to the Lawyers Feed the Hungry program through the Law Society Foundation, demonstrating his commitment to legal education and community support.

An avid sports enthusiast, Gerry Falletta has played competitive soccer throughout his life and engages in various sports like golf, tennis, and basketball, often with his son and friends.
