Bio

Felice Cohen, the grandchild of two Holocaust survivors, is the author of the award-winning book “What Papa Told Me,” a memoir about her grandfather’s life before, during and after the war. The book has been endorsed by Elie Wiesel, translated into Polish, is taught in schools, and has sold 30,000 copies around the world. She has spoken to over 12,000 students and adults about her grandfather's experiences.

Her newest book, “90 Lessons for Living Large in 90 Square Feet (...or more),” the winner of two Best Self Help book awards, is a “want to” guide for helping people do more of what they love by letting go of extra stuff. The book was inspired by the YouTube video of her 90-square-foot Manhattan studio that went viral across the globe with almost 20 million views. Felice has been featured on Good Morning America, NPR, Time, and the Daily Mail to name a few. She currently speaks around the country at Tiny House Festivals, libraries, and bookstores.

Felice has been featured in a documentary on tiny living, as well as in documentaries about the transmission of trauma as a grandchild of Survivors.

Felice writes the blog “Living Large in Any Space” and has written for the New York Daily News, amNew York, Metro and others. What enabled Felice to “live large” in that tiny studio is that she has been a professional organizer for over 20 years.

After living for 5 years in a 90-square-foot NYC studio, Felice learned that living with less (less space, less stuff) gave her so much more (more freedom to do what she loved to do).

Felice worked spent 18 years (on and off) working with her grandfather on a book about his life before, during and after the Holocaust. She wrote it as a gift to him, never expecting to sell one copy, let alone selling 30,000 copies.
