Bio

Eric Landblom is a former combat pilot and leader on the battlefield who retired after 22 years of service, leading over 2,000 men and women. As a decorated Marine Corps veteran, Eric brings his unique experiences to audiences worldwide as a keynote speaker and leadership consultant.

After retiring, Eric earned an Executive Master of Business Administration to help translate his experiences into everyday situations. He then co-founded JL Endeavors, a solutions business that provides leadership, management, and financial solutions to lift others to build greater communities.

Eric's combat experience as a pilot and leader and his post-military education and business experience has made him a sought-after keynote speaker and leadership consultant. His engaging presentations inspire and motivate audiences, and his proven leadership methods have helped numerous businesses ranging from 100 employees to over 1,000 employees, to succeed.

Eric has been a guest speaker at many organizations, including the Masters of Business Administration classes at the University of Georgia's Terry College of Business, non-profit civic organizations, and medium- to large-sized corporations. How the S.A.R.A.* Process Taught Me to Be a More Effective Leader for My People

S.A.R.A. stands for Shock, Anger, Resistance, and Acceptance. S.A.R.A. is a model for understanding and managing change. t recognizes that when we experience change, we go through various emotions before fully accepting the new reality. The first stage is Shock, where the change takes us aback, and we may feel disoriented or numb. The second stage is Anger, where we may feel frustrated, resentful, or even hostile toward the change. The third stage is Resistance, where we may actively try to resist or avoid the change. And finally, the fourth stage is Acceptance, where we come to terms with the change and are ready to move forward.
It allows us to adapt to new situations more effectively and with greater resilience. And as leaders, it is crucial that we help our teams navigate through change by acknowledging their emotions and providing support and guidance.
