With 18 years in the legal field and 9 in law enforcement I would love the opportunity to show officers (of all rank) and the community the value of training the front line to be leaders.

Every call for service is a call for leadership.

Tactical Police Leadership aims to train the police and the public in their respective roles in the public safety mission.

My main professional goal is to show law enforcement professionals (of all ranks) on a massive scale the difference between simply patrolling and policing on purpose and with purpose. Additionally better lines of communication among the facets of the department and with other neighboring agencies must exist to better accomplish the mission.

The Tactical Police Leadership Curriculum:

Leadership and Special Operations are conventionally separate tracks but they shouldn't because as officers are first on scene to every type of call both those skills are needed in equal measure.

Three accomplishments:

1) Created a successful partnership between between the Georgia State University Staff Council and Police Department on a homeless project which proves that every partnership built between the police and the public paves the way to a safer and more productive community.

2) Spearheaded the concept of an online community of interest (which was ultimately designed by Homeland Security Information Network) to allow state school agencies to share information (bolos, training, intel, planning, etc.) on a secure portal and

3) Have developed a model in which the community can maximize their safety while showing them how to be proactive participants in their public safety role. This model is referred to as the Social Infrastructure Fortification
