From presentation skills to publicity, Edward Segal draws on his extensive experience in public relations, politics, and journalism to show executives how to improve or enhance the image and reputation of their organizations and generate free news coverage about the products, services, expertise, activities and accomplishments of their companies.

Edward Segal has more than 20 years' experience in public relations, journalism, lobbying, advocacy, and association management. He is the former CEO of two REALTOR associations, including the Beverly Hills/Greater Los Angeles Association of REALTORS and the Marin County Association of REALTORS in Northern California.

His credentials include:

PR Expert. Currently a PR consultant to trade associations including the California Association of REALTORS. Former consultant to the National Association of REALTORS and senior media relations consultant for Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide. As a PR expert, he has generated thousands of stories for clients with CNN, Fox News, The Washington Post, USA Today, The New York Times, Time magazine, Reuters, Associated Press, and other news organizations; his list of clients includes the Consumer Electronics Show, Ford Motor Company, General Electric, Marriott Corporation, Society of the Plastics Industry, American Council of Life Insurance, and Air Travelers Association.

Journalist. Marketing strategies columnist for The Wall Street Journal's StartUpJournal.com; his articles have been published by the New York Times, Washington Post, Wall Street Journal, Los Angeles Times, American Society of Association Executives, the National Association of REALTORS® and state REALTOR® association magazines in California, Texas, Florida, Georgia, Michigan, and New Hampshire, and the California Center for Real Estate.

CEO. More than 13 years' experience leading and managing two trade associations, including the Beverly Hills/Greater Los Angeles Association of REALTOR®. With more than 9,000 members, it is one of the largest local REALTOR®organizations in the United States.

Author. Wrote "Getting Your 15 Minutes and Fame, and More", a PR handbook for business executives (John Wiley & Sons) and the "Profit by Publicity" how-to PR guide for real estate brokers and agents (iUniverse) that was the basis for an e-book, audiobook and workshops.
