Dr. Vanessa R. Brooks is a thought leader, researcher, and dynamic speaker at the intersection of executive leadership, faith, and mental health. Her purpose is to equip mission-driven organizations with the leadership, systems, and psychological safety needed to reduce burnout, strengthen team trust, and align culture with purpose—so leaders can serve with clarity, compassion, and sustainable impact. With a doctorate in executive leadership in mental health and human services, and extensive research on depression in the Black Church, she is also on a mission to help faith communities heal without fear, thrive beyond suffering, and break the cycles of generational trauma.
