The Sex Trafficker's Wife

In 2016 my husband, and father of my children was arrested for Attempted Human Trafficking. I was a full time housewife with three children under 6. My life had revolved around my children and their happiness. All I could do was everything I believed would make sure that my kids were going to be ok, which at the time included staying in the marriage.

It took me seeing my children being groomed by their father for me to finally get it. None of this had ever been ok.

In order fix it I had to do different. I had to heal myself first. I had to commit to me first. I had to leave the marriage, and find my power to stand up to protect my children.

I had to learn how to stand against my husband to find ME. Because ME is who was going to get us out of the mess I was in.

I faced him in family court to fight for my children, and after 18 months and $75k I succeeded.

My story is a story of strength, courage, and resilience. We only lose if we stop believing we can.
