Dr. Theresa A. Moseley is originally from Fayetteville, North Carolina. She is a United States Army Veteran, WOMLI United Nations Peace Ambassador, Inspirational and Motivational speaker, 14x-Best Selling Author, 3x International Best Selling Author, and a retired, 3x-Award Winning Educator.Dr. Moseley has been featured in several magazine including International Face Magazine, Women of Dignity, Speakers Magazine, Tap-In, and SisterMySister Keeper. She has been featured in over 300 news articles worldwide including CEO Weekly and Voyage ATL. Dr. Moseley has received the Woman of Heart Award in London England, the Women Doing it Big Award, The Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award, The Phenomenal Women Award, and the SHE O Boss Global Impact Award.

Dr. Moseley is the owner and Chief Executive Officer of TAM Creating Ambassadors of Peace LLC. Her company provides inspirational and motivational speeches to groups looking for ways to resolve conflicts in the community, in schools, and in other organizations wanting to create a peaceful climate and culture.

Dr. Moseley has worked in the field of education for 28 years. In 1999 she was awarded the Excellence in Education Award from the Prince George’s County Chamber of Commerce. In 2006, she was recognized as Prince George’s County Outstanding Educator. During her time as an administrator at Walker Mill Middle School, she received the Excellence in Gifted and Talented Education Award from the Maryland Department of Education. Dr. Moseley attended Leadership: An Evolving Vision at Harvard Graduate School of Education, and the Harvard Institute on Critical Issues in Urban Special Education. She also attended the Summer Leadership Institute at the Yale Child Study Center – School Development Program. Dr. Moseley is a humanitarian promoting world peace in all her endeavors. She also provides professional development on Transformational Leadership. As a published author, she writes positive messages in her books about peace, love, hope, and purpose. She uses her life experiences to address thought-provoking questions about finding one’s purpose in life, and finding your authentic self, and is very overt regarding everyone taking responsibility for creating a peaceful world. Her signature book, Creating Ambassador of Peace: 16 Steps to Become an Ambassador of Peace is an Amazon Best Seller.

Generating Expectations for Student Acheivement

This workshops focuses the tenets written by Dolores Grayson (GESA), response opportunity and acknowledgement and feedback. Sometimes in the classroom, only certain students are called on and it does not give others an opportunity to respond to the learning activities. I teach educators how to measure the response opportunity in the class and provide instructional strategies that will assist educators to improve their classroom practices.

The Observation Process

The observation process is one of the most important activities in schools that will help build the teacher's capacity. This workshop is for teachers who are on cycle to be observed and administrators who participate in the pre and post conferences, and observe teachers in the classroom.
