Dr. Sammy the Dog Trainer has become somewhat of a local phenomenon, and I embrace it! I've been working with dogs all my life and have a very structured curriculum and teaching paradigm. My teaching style is dynamic and engaging, and I love what I do! Also, I make great dog impressions.

I also teach creative writing and am a disabled veteran. I regularly co-host the Let's Talk It's Time America show discussing pressing issues in today's society. And have authored multiple workshops.
I have a BA in literature, albeit Italian not English. I also have a popular blog with over 43k views and have been requested as a guest blogger. A Room of Her Own Foundation, Civil Liberties United, and The Nabu Review by Paragon Press have published my short work, and I am one of A Room of Her Own Foundation’s legacy fellowship recipients. Yes! Magazine recently picked one of my works out of an anthology to republish as well. I recently finished my doctorate in Public Service Leadership and Homeland Security. My dual BA is in Italian Language and Literature as well as Near Eastern Languages and Cultures/Central Eurasian (Persian language) studies from Indiana University. I have an MA from American Military University in Strategic Intelligence with a concentration in Terrorism Studies. I am a diverse speaker as I am a 90% disabled female veteran.
