Dr. Jairo Borja

I am all about the people. I have spent several years in Education and Marketing. Experience working with distributors and working in a Business Development capacity for over 5 years.

Familiar with strategic models such as SWOT Analysis, PEST Analysis, BCG Growth-Share Matrix, 4 Ps of Marketing, Marketing Segmentation, Marketing Mix, Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs, Theory X and Theory Y to name a few.

Lead a successful Business Development team of 5 or 6 since January 2013.

Through my leadership as Director of Business Development, my department has signed up 35 new Corporate Learning Partners in a 3 year span. This allows for their employees and their immediate family members to enroll in college onsite or online at a 20% discount.

Also, increased relationships with public, private and nonprofit organizations for Justice & Legal Studies majors.

Lastly, have overseen over 80 career fairs (general and industry specific) over a 4 year span.

Build win-win relationships, passionate about strategy and execution of tasks, love the New York Mets,

New York Giants, UFC and WWE.

Superpowers include win-win relationships, strategic on site recruiting events and career fairs, strategy and execution of new initiatives and/or tasks to accomplish goals. Lastly, leading a team to victory day in and day out.

I have held 3 roles in 8 years giving me a comprehensive understanding of my department.

I get the majority of my dissertation (doctoral study) work done on Sundays.

Numerous awards including Stars Under 40 Award in 2017. ASIS Outstanding Achievement Award in 2016 and Honorable Mention Award for Adaptability in 2013.

Born in Astoria, NY, raised in Corona, Queens, NY. Big New York Mets fan. Dr. Jairo is the President of Borja Consulting Group. Borja Consulting Group helps people build relationships to increase sales. Presentations, Keynote Speaker, Coaching, and soon a podcast.

Dr. Jairo received his Doctor of Business Administration Degree in Marketing from Walden University in March of 2019. He obtained his Master of Business Administration Degree in Management from Long Island University in 2007. Lastly, received his Bachelor of Business Administration Degree in Management from Berkeley College in 2003.
