Bio

I am a teacher, author, research scholar, columnist, and a former civil servant. I belong to a small state called Manipur in the North-eastern part of India. I got my undergraduate degree in Political Science from the University of Delhi, India. I hold a Ph.D. Degree in minority acculturation strategies with particular reference to American society in American Studies from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, India. I am a University teacher and a passionate student of Indian politics and global affairs. I love public speaking. I would love to identify myself as an educator cum public intellectual.

I am not the kind of speaker who speaks with perfection, yet the content does not cover any motivating or purposeful value in life. My words may not help you get financially more affluent or solve all your issues, but I assure you that, in the end, you will find yourself more complete and purposeful. I focus on the topic's content as much as on energizing and motivating the audience.

Significance of Higher Education

Higher education in India is critical to realizing the nation's aspiration of becoming a 'Vishwaguru' (world teacher). It equips individuals with advanced knowledge, critical thinking, and research capabilities, fostering innovation and global competitiveness. By nurturing diverse disciplines, higher education cultivates leaders, scholars, and visionaries who can address complex global challenges. It promotes cultural exchange, contributing to global harmony and understanding. Additionally, it attracts international students, fostering a rich academic ecosystem. Embracing quality higher education enhances India's intellectual prowess, enabling it to guide and shape the global discourse, fulfilling the Vishwaguru vision in an interconnected world.
