Dori is no newcomer to Agile and Scrum. She received her Scrum Master certification over 10 years ago from one of the first certified trainers in the world who was trained by the Scrum creators themselves. She was one of the first in government to receive her Scrum certification. Dori watched Agile grow from an online forum to a global enterprise and now she has a vast wealth of knowledge and experience that leads her projects to success.
Throughout her career, Dori worked with customers all over the country elevating scrum teams and agile leaders to an Agile “Zen” and helping private and government agencies realize the best solutions to their toughest problems. She helped teams implement workable processes and continuously improve their Agile processes. Her resume includes companies such as 3M, Hewlett Packard, First Data as well as state agencies in New York, California, Ohio, Idaho, Oregon, Kansas, and Delaware. She’s worked with projects large and small – from over 150 developers building a $600 million system to a 5 member team building a web form. Large or small, her approach works for all.
Dori is a committed Agile professional and expert who has real life experience. She has seen it all and knows what works. She also is an efficiency expert and can help businesses find their best path to success.
In life, Dori forged her career path from the ground up. She found herself divorced and raising her 3 year old daughter alone. She was working a minimum wage job with no room for advancement. Yet once she set her mind on having a better life for her and her daughter she was able to jumpstart her career in health care and business analysis within a short few months. And in a few short years she was traveling the country working as an Agile consultant. Her story has inspired others and she wants continue to inspire through her speaking engagements. She knows what it takes to make life count, work toward personal and professional goals, and how to make success a reality.
