Deborah Toppins is a highly accomplished certified police captain based in Laurel, Maryland. She worked for several years as a corrections officer prior to attending a police academy. She then transitioned into a school police investigator. With impressive qualifications including NASRO certification, field training officer, gang instructor, and police instructor certifications, she has 20 years of experience in school security. She spent fifteen years in a school as an investigator and has been a Field Operations Supervisor for the past 6 years. Her dedication and skill earned her the "Investigator of The Year" award for several years. Alongside her career in law enforcement, Deborah has several projects related to real estate investment. She holds a Bachelors with a focus in Criminal Justice where she earned Summa Cum Laude distinction. She also holds a Master's Degree in Education. She has been married for 22 years and has one son currently in his second year of college. She also has a Goldendoodle furbaby. In her free time, Deborah loves music and attends concerts regularly.
