Phenomena Related to Color

Color is a fascinating phenomenon that surrounds us every day. From the rainbow in the sky after a rainfall to the hues of a beautiful sunset, color has the power to captivate us and stir our emotions. In this article, we will explore some of the phenomena related to color, including rainbows, light, and the science behind how we perceive color.

Rainbows
One of the most famous phenomena related to color is the rainbow. A rainbow is an optical phenomenon that occurs when sunlight is refracted, or bent, as it passes through water droplets in the atmosphere. The colors of the rainbow are created by the different wavelengths of light being refracted at slightly different angles, which causes them to separate and form a spectrum of colors.
The colors of the rainbow, in order, are red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and violet.
