David Nemeroff originally hails from New York and currently resides in the Lehigh Valley near Allentown, PA. He began his martial arts journey at the age of seven and became more serious about his training at the age of twelve when he started training in the art of Aikido. In order to complement his aikido regiment and become a more complete martial artist, Nemeroff trains in other martial arts such as jujutsu, kempo, iaijutsu and kenjutsu (samurai sword), kobudo (weapons), aikijutsu and others.
Nemeroff has taught martial arts to people of all walks of life including law enforcement; military, corporations such as Air Products, St. Lukes Hospital, Penn State University and Mack Trucks; as well as children’s organizations like the Boys and Girls Club of Allentown, Camelot for Children, and Kid’s Peace. He has taught kempo and qigong to cancer survivors at the Cancer Support Community (a national non-profit organization). Additionally, he has developed and implemented a martial arts program called the Kids Karate Project, which is specifically designed to help children afflicted with cancer and other special needs.
Nemeroff has been featured on TV shows like NBC news, the channel 69 news, TV-2 Sports Scene, Martial Arts TV online and various radio shows both nationally and internationally. He has also been published in Aikido Today magazine, as well as other publications. He is also a five-time published author and been in other books such as “Mastering the Samurai Sword” and “Aiki-Jujutsu: Mixed Martial Art of The Samurai.”
