David Garlock

I have had the pleasure of working with David in various arenas including having him speak to our students at Pitt-Greensburg on multiple occasions. David is a passionate and outspoken criminal justice reformer who has experienced everything that the criminal justice system has to offer both good and bad. His life, and his continuing work, are a compelling story of trauma, sacrifice, love, healing, and redemption. David is able to tell his story and share his motivations for change in a way that draws in his audience and leaves you with a sense of hope for the future. Anyone trying to understand the criminal justice system, in all its faults and glories, should have the opportunity to hear David speak.
