Bio

David Frank is the founder of nashaware.com, a blog dedicated to raising awareness of the deadly liver disease NASH. In 2014 his mother passed away only six weeks after being diagnosed with the silent killer disease. He serves on the Board of Directors for the American Liver Foundation. He has worked in the tedium of the financial markets for over 18 years while biding his time to pursue his lifelong passion of writing. He's also a tech geek, gamer, advocate, tinkerer, husband, and father. He lives in New York City with his wife and three children.

Dave lost his mom only six weeks after being diagnosed with a disease he'd never heard of. It turns out that up to twenty million Americans may have it, and most are completely unaware.

This presentation deals with the grief of sudden loss, the stark realities of NASH, and the determination to use the tragic lessons learned to help other people.
