David Ballard

After graduating from UC Berkeley with a degree in Comparative Literature, I went on to study film at the San Francisco Art Institute. I then honed my storytelling skills as a feature writer at the San Francisco Chronicle before moving to Los Angeles to become a writer-producer-actor. Since then I have written, produced and/or acted in over 200 episodes of broadcast or internet documentary and reality programming for ABC, AMC, Bravo, Comedy Central, Discovery, Fox, GSN, HGTVGardens.com, History, Spike, SyFy, TBS and TLC.

I am also an accomplished songwriter, vocalist and guitarist, and have licensed several of my original compositions to various films, TV series and advertising campaigns.

In my spare time I like to study esoteric sciences, spiritual methodologies and ET/UFO phenonomena - in particular, their effect on ancient Earth history.

Award-winning writer-producer-actor with over 200 hours of film and TV credits as a writer-producer for such networks as Bravo, Discovery, ESPN, History, LMN, Science Channel and TLC and over 60 film, TV, music video and commercial credits as an actor.
