I am an independent media professional based in Chester, UK. I've been working as a jobbing writer for newspapers, magazines and other media for 20 years.

You can read my articles in publications such as The Daily Telegraph, The Guardian, Family Traveller Magazine and France Magazine. I mainly write about travel and family issues.

As a media tutor, I teach modules at university level for undergraduate and postgraduate courses. My specialist area is magazine journalism.

I also run my own media-writing workshops, teaching all aspects of writing for print and online from getting your idea published to finding your voice as a blogger.

I am available for work as a guest speaker and pundit.
