Courtney Edwards, MS

Courtney Edwards is a trained counselor, board certified coach, meditation teacher, adjunct instructor, and podcaster.

She brings 20 years of experience in the helping professions, working with adolescents, college students, adults, couples, and families.

Courtney founded Solavis Holistic, LLC in 2019 with a vision toward promoting mindful wellbeing in every day life with a multi-pronged approach: behavioral health coaching, meditation, and group events.

Alchemy Behavioral Health Coaching is a heart-forward, future focused, solutions oriented approach to getting unstuck. Offering remote and in person options, Courtney helps individuals find greater wellness and happiness through individual, group, and couples' coaching. Courtney focuses on each person's inherent wellness and utilizes positive and cognitive psychologies to find meaning and wholeness amid life's challenges.

Courtney's community facing opportunities include learning meditation and mindfulness practices through the Pragmatic Spirit meditation training program and workshops touching on a wide variety of topics related to mindfulness, mental health, and overall wellbeing.

In 2022, Courtney launched the Pragmatic Alchemy podcast. Answering listener submitted questions, gaining the insights of other professionals, as well as drawing from her own experiences, Courtney's goal for this podcast is to make the mission of "mindful wellbeing in every day life" more accessible for all.

Additionally, Courtney is an adjunct instructor in the CACREP-accredited Counselor Education program at SUNY New Paltz. She lives and works in the Rondout and Hudson Valleys with her family.
