Published both traditionally and independently, Schmitz has a passion for Indies. He has over 20 books in print and wrote The Indie Author’s Bible.

Schmitz has taught everyday writers how to pursue publishing since 2016. He’s taught courses with NY Times bestsellers and at many classrooms, libraries, and conventions abroad.
