HI THERE! I'M CHRIS, AND I HELP LEADERS AND TEAMS GENERATE THE ATTENTION THEY NEED TO COLLABORATE BETTER, MAKE BETTER DECISIONS, AND SUPERCHARGE THEIR BUSINESSES!

I’m a professional storyteller with three decades experience - as a journalist, producer, director, writer, presenter, strategist, consultant, and coach. I’ve led strategic comms projects for some of the biggest brands in North America, and I’ve learned three basic things:

1) CHANGE HAPPENS HORIZONTALLY, NOT VERTICALLY. Most top down messages fail to land because they don't take into account all the reasons people have to resist a change.

2) THE MOST IMPORTANT STORIES ARE THE ONES WE TELL EACH OTHER. People will always put greater faith in what their peers say than what any leader or marketer will try to tell them.

3) NOTHING GETS ATTENTION LIKE A WELL-TOLD STORY. And the most successful orgs make storytelling a habit – at a peer level, a team level, and an org level.

I USE THESE LESSONS TO HELP OTHERS DEVELOP THEIR PRACTICAL STORYTELLING SKILLS IN ORGANIZATIONAL SETTINGS.
