Charles was physically and emotionally abused as a child, and it took him 31 years in a relationship just shy of 28 married to realize he stayed in an unhealthy marriage with put downs and emotional abuse because he felt Comfortable. Imagine how that resonated with him when a councilor told him "You felt comfortable". That was his turning point where he began to work on himself. With a diversified background of Desert Storm Veteran with US Army as a helicopter mechanic and crew chief, to overhauling aircraft engines, to radio station advertisement sales and broadcast to owning his own family entertainment business of 25 years, also screen-printing and producing a local Kids TV show. 2017 to today a Realtor in Northern Arizona and the incoming 2025 President of the White Mountain Association of REALTORS®. Yes, he had a successful professional life, but he had a personal life of failure and low self-esteem. He will tell you what and how he rose from victim to victor and how you can keep yourself from falling into that trap or how to get yourself out. 10 years later he is on a friendly level with that ex-wife and realizes that if he had known what he knows today it may never have taken place in the same way and could have avoided a life of abuse.
