Bio

In his younger ages, Tre was a highly decorated athlete at Apollo-Ridge High School, where he received an athletic scholarship to attend the University of Pittsburgh. Tre Tipton has served as a wide receiver for the University of Pittsburgh for the last seven years. Tipton's skills off the field has gained him many awards including the Wilma Rudolph Student Athlete Achievement award and the 2021 Disney Spirit Award, which is given to the most inspiring college football athlete. Most recently, Tipton was also nominated for the 2021 Capital One Orange Bowl FWAA Courage Award, for his courage in speaking about mental health and his own personal battles against it. Now Tre Tipton is the co-founder and CEO of an Organization called L.O.V.E, or Living Out Victoriously Everyday., which is a peer group made to support student-athlete through adversity. A champion of mental health, Tipton founded the peer group to support Pitt student athletes in their experiences of overcoming adversity through his 5-week program he had created. For his work in the community and his organization Tre has also received awards such as the Heart of A Panther award presented by Pitt,. the All-State Good Works Team award, and the 2019 Freddie Solomon Community Spirit Award.

During his time at Pitt, Tipton earned a bachelor's degree in communication as well as a master's degree in social work. Since then, Tre has started his speaking career and has spoken to over 15+ schools about mental adversities and the struggles he faced growing up. He has goals to impact as many people as he can to help them improve their mental strength.

Tre is a nomadic kid that moved around a lot growing up as a kid, but spent his high school days at Apollo-Ridge High School in Spring Church. His story tells of the tough trials that he faced as a kid witnessing death within his family. His story tells of a young individual who had to find strength throughout his life to maintain balance. He spent his collegiate years playing . This led him to create the organization called "L.O.V.E" aka (Living. Out. Victoriously. Everyday).
