I admire talented people and see the untapped potential in most. I try to harness positivity and spread it. Witnessing beauty in nature and in my surroundings in any shape or form invigorates me. Don't be surprised if I hug you. I prefer to hug than shake hands or kiss.

In 2014, I was named by Inc. Magazine as one NYC’s Top 4 Content Innovators as a “Supermarketer” and “Intelligence Agent.” Previously I was recognized by Silicon Alley Reporter among the "Top 100 Internet Executives in NY" and named by NextWeb as one of “50 In New York’s Tech Scene You Need to Know.” My crowd-funding fashion site Styletrek was featured by Entrepreneur Magazine as one of “Top 100 Brilliant Companies” of 2011 and by Stanford GSB Community as “Top 10 Great Business Ideas.”
In 2003, I lauched Burberry's e-commerce site and received the "Rising Star" award in 2006 from the executive management at Burberry.
I have been featured in the NY Times, WSJ, Asia WSJ, VOGUE, Asiaweek, BusinessWeek, Fortune Small Business, Entrepreneur, Advertising Age and CNN. I have spoken at Columbia, NYU, Harvard, and MIT on entrepreneurship and digital marketing. In 2009 I gave a keynote at the Luxury Interactive Conference in London on "Luxury Marketing in a Recession" and at the Global Ecommerce Summit in Barcelona in 2010 on "The Global E-commerce Launch Checklist."
In 2012 I was a judge in the hack2hatch competition in Cebu, Philippines along with executives from Facebook and Microsoft. In 2014 I had the privilege to keynote and share the stage with Yuri Van Geest of Singularity University and “The Business Romantic” Tim Leberecht at the mobile conference MLove in Berlin with my talk on “Love, Empathy and Gratitude in a Connected world.”
I am working on launching BRWN - a media company that aims to fill the gap and tell stories that matter to those in between black and white.
I love to travel and was formerly proficient in Filipino, Spanish, French and Italian. In my free time I can be found snowboarding, scuba diving, or surfing. I live for live music and can often be found dancing at festivals. I am on the entrepreneur board of Venture for America and on the advisory board of Music Unites and NextDayBetter and am super proud to be a soccer mom and a sometime tiger mom to my son Mateo.
