Geospatial Data Scientist, Entrepreneur, and Speaker, Richard graduated in Geography. Ten years ago, Richard discovered technology. This discovery led him on a humbling yet exciting journey to collaborate on technology, entrepreneurship, and education projects in Africa, the USA, Europe, and Asia. He has worked with private businesses, diplomatic institutions, international organizations, and government institutions — including Ministries in Togo, the World Bank, and NASA — to name a few.
Richard is passionate about Space and its benefit to Humanity. Sponsored by the United States Department of State, he had a professional development experience at NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center. He worked on disaster risk management and environmental monitoring, using geospatial tools and data products. Richard then founded African Geospace, with the ultimate mission to help save lives, improve livelihoods, and increase climate resilience.
Richard is member of the International Leadership Association, and The Mars Society. He is a Mandela Washington Fellow with a certificate of Leadership in Public Management from Arizona State University, and a UNCTAD eFounders Fellow. Richard is on a mission to inspire as many as possible globally, by sharing his experience, and what keeps him onward.
