Bio

Brittani Millington, brand strategist and designer + founder of the BM Design. A new mother, and a plant lover, and I love cultivating experiences locally and when traveling abroad aka trying all the food and museums.

I have the joy of guiding the people behind the brands to achieve the vision that had become an illusion for them. Together we take everything in their head and create a pathway to get to their vision for their brand and life. This happens by developing an understanding of what the brand is and not, creating a strategy to implement marketing initiatives, customer journeys, and positioning along with a brand identity system for the client to create marketing and advertising campaigns.

I’ve had the joy of working with clients and brands like Squarespace, SOBEWFF®, City of WPB, Whole Story Studio, 1909, and more. I'm also apart of entrepreneur community 1909, in West Palm Beach, FL. With my collective experience I share what I've learn to help brands not just survive but thrive.

A recent topic I love speaking about is the loss of “bedside manners” when operations are on autopilot.

As design professionals being in the industry for a long time. We can lose our compassion and human aspects when dealing with our clients. Especially when we have processes and systems in place that make everything so automatic, and routine.

Mapping Your Brand's Customer Journey

Mapping out how consumers go from finding you to advocating for your brand lets you know how to show up to connect your brand and their needs. Building a customer relationship is continuous work to build strong connections. Crafting a plan for the brand's customer experience will cultivate the relationship, and you'll have the ability to identify and troubleshoot any issues if there is a disconnect.

Impactful Brand Strategy and Design

I discuss what impact design and strategy have on Small Business owners. How they can use it to help their businesses achieve their mission and have a design that reflects the businesses’ value to the customer. I explain what brand strategy is. How that leads to better design and adds value to their brand. I help the brand owners answer the following questions: How valuable is branding? How can branding be used to lead the way to more business? Understand that the brand can take you on a guided path toward decision-making. It can impact the perception of the business, and help you get where you want it to be. Learn what areas to clarify and polish.
