From the South Side of Chicago to Harlem, NYC, my story is a testament to turning struggle into success. I have developed an enjoyment for looking at a "failure," a point of pain, or an obstacle with an opportunistic mindset. This skill has been a key factor that has led to accomplishments throughout my sales career and creating well-designed and targeted professional development events.
I've always been focused on an ambitious mission, whether it was "to take over the world"(as I would say in my college years), to make my mother proud of me, or to strive for greatness in all that I do. As an adult, my mission has shifted to developing students, entrepreneurs, and business owners; and cultivating diverse communities to understand social currency and how to use it to reach life goals.
I have almost two decades of experience in the areas of executive consulting, content creation, and media sales. I created Currency Shift Podcast and Currency Shift, LLC, a media and consulting company, to build social capital to grow representation in positions of influence within companies and communities. My mission is to cultivate diverse communities that understand how to use social currency to impact personal and professional growth.
