Brian Gestring

Brian Gestring is a forensic scientist, consultant, and educator with more than thirty years of experience. As founder of 4n6Services, he advises agencies across the country on forensic operations, policy, and complex casework. His career has spanned nearly every role in forensic science, from crime scene investigator to laboratory director, with expertise in crime scene reconstruction, DNA analysis, trace evidence, and forensic photography.

A Fellow of the American Academy of Forensic Sciences and a Senior Crime Scene Analyst certified by the International Association for Identification, Brian has also held leadership roles in some of the nation’s largest crime laboratories and directed New York State’s forensic accreditation and DNA programs.

Alongside consulting, Brian is committed to public education. He teaches courses in forensic science and now produces educational videos on YouTube and social media, making criminal justice and forensic science accessible to students, professionals, and the public.
