I am married with 6 biological kids. We have also adopted our youngest out of the system. (That is now 7 for those keeping track :) )We have been fostering a precious sibling group of 4 that the goal seems to be headed towards adoption as well. Yes..... that makes 11. What does that mean? I think it means my wife and I have become very good at being insane, living in the "mess" (Both materially and emotionally) of the foster care world, and still pushing forward towards a world for our kids (both biological and others) that helps them navigate through this world.

With that as the backdrop, I have spoken and led numerous seminars, camps, and trainings that, I feel, can help kids, and help adults help kids. Being mindful of your personal brand, how trauma both now and in our past impacts us daily, and how my wife and I have taken all this knowledge, and our own trial and error to become professional parents.

You can change your brand once you know what your brand is and how powerful it is already. You can walk through your trauma and realize how to overcome. Parenting is hard, but it is worth it, do it right!
