I've been described as an "agent provocateur", a "business muse" and "the Future of Leadership woman". I was always "one of the youngest" - one of the youngest producers of the BBC’s flagship “Today Programme”, one of the youngest political producers on Radio 4's “Woman’s Hour” and one of the youngest executive coaches in the UK. I'm not any more. Now I am "one of the most experienced".
Over the last 15 years I've been inspiring leaders in fast-moving, ambitious companies to drive change within their organisations. For clients including GSK, Mattel, Roche, Welsh Assembly and Airbus I've been a catalyst, confidante and agent provocateur. We work with the most senior leaders in organisations who are ready to reject out-dated notions of what a leader is and create communities of people who are dedicated to their customer and each other. I am also a keynote speaker, engaged by audiences around the world, to share my observations about how leadership is changing.
Known for our feet to the fire approach and our tenacity, I work internationally and across sectors, performing magic on leadership teams who want to become sleek, elite units capable of carving out a dynamic future for their business and releasing the talent of leaders at the next level - those individuals responsible for turning the whole organisation on to the vision.
I am also the author of three successful business books: The Hyper-creative Personality (New Holland, 2007), The Recipe for Success (A&C Black, 2009) and the bestselling What's Wrong with Work (Wiley 2010) and currently working on my fourth, Punks In Suits - The Future of Leadership in a Bossless World.
I am a regular guest expert on BBC Radio 2's Jeremy Vine show and have appeared on BBC Breakfast News and BBC Working Lunch. I am regularly quoted in the press and write a monthly column for the UK's best selling health glossy, Healthy magazine.
Specialties: Team work, leadership, culture change and consulting on future trends.
