Bolstad is headmaster at Ringstabekk school in Norway, a lower secondary school with 425 students. This is an open-spaced school that has been at the forefront of pedagogical development for 40 years. Educated at the University of Oslo and University College BI in humanitarian subjects and educational leadership, in 2001, Bolstad and 5 other staff-members at Ringstabekk school published a book about the schools' pedagogics.
