In life, success is not what we're after. What we're really going after is a sense of fulfillment. We want to be happy with the lives we have made for ourselves. We want to feel fulfilled as husbands and wives, sons and daughters. We want to feel accomplished in our careers. We want to feel that what we are doing in this world is making a difference. We want to feel like we matter.

As a former college baseball player, I learned countless lessons through the game. Among many smaller ones, my biggest take away from my career is how I define success. I was able to shift my values from external to internal, which allowed me to become the player I always wanted to become. I was able to end my career genuinely fulfilled, and that is something that I am incredibly proud to have done. This is a practice that I continue to use in my everyday life.

While my background is in baseball, the lessons I have learned through the game have applications far beyond it. I want to help you redefine success in order to find your true fulfillment. I believe that everything needed to succeed is already inside us; it is just a matter of flipping the switch.
