Aryea Flohr graduated with a Bachelors of Fine Arts Degree from New York University. He worked in the technical field for several years, but he got sick and knew he could not continue in technical field anymore.
Aryea had a great passion for painting from a very young age, so he decided to pursue that passion. In the early stages of his career, he was inspired by the works of Ando Hiroshige and Winslow Homer, so he began to work with watercolor and ink. Aryea Flohr found painting both inspiring and challenging.
As an enthusiastic artist, he focuses on abstract expressionism, color theory and vivid landscapes. He tries to overlap the forms and uses the color theory with a new form of color conjunction.
To him, making art is an outlet for creativity and the release of lifetime's experiences. A painting should tell a tale and does not have to be precise or beautiful.
Aryea wants his art to evoke an emotion in the viewer as it does for him the painter.
Colour, texture, composition and subject matter are juggled together and every now and again, the end result is satisfactory.
