The Future of Work for Gen Z

When you think about diversity in the workplace, you think about measures like race, gender, and ethnicity…but what about age? Generation Z, born between 1997-2012, is the first generation of digital natives. Every generation has its own values as consumers and creators, and the globalization of Gen Z culture is one that has never been seen before.

Right now, leaders are struggling to adapt to Gen Z’s approach to the workplace and retain them as top talent. On the flip side, Gen Z is currently the least happy generation at work, and their happiness at work is tied to how passionate they are about the work they do. To bridge this workplace mismatch, Apoorva answers the question: how can companies and leaders keep up with emerging generations and reimagine a workplace that appeals to Gen Z’s values in the digital age?

Apoorva advises leaders and corporations on how to adapt quickly to be at the forefront of the future of work, innovation, and creation for Gen Z

Becoming the Human Calculator

Featured on the NBC National TV show Genius Junior and viral mathematical sensation on every social platform, Apoorva shares her journey to becoming the “Human Calculator,” from hard-learned mindsets to forging her own education to becoming a published researcher at 16.

Leveraging Online Platforms in the Digital Age

In the past decade, we’ve seen the incredible potential of streamlining and growing our work online. Apoorva talks about how young people can use their experience in the online space to create or engage with virtual platforms to learn, grow a business, or tangibly develop their passions

Integrating Art for STEM Innovation

Apoorva speaks about the intersection of STEM, the creative world, innovation, and its role in the future. From the beauty of biomimicry to applying art to science, she reveals two cheat codes to creativity and how art and STEM let people interpret the world around us all.

Gender Bias in Early Education

To promote diversity in tech, it’s time to demystify it–starting with younger generations. How can we create an exposure mechanism for all students to engage them in as many areas as possible and to give them a playground to problem-solve in? A focus on transferable real-world skills at an early age gives meaning to learning, and in turn creates motivation. Start allowing students to be actively learning and working on the problems of today, instead of waiting for the problems of tomorrow

Wonders of the Mathematical World

“Consider yourself an art enthusiast? We walk through the fascinating intersection of math and art that reveals itself in fractals and tessellations. Fancy yourself a budding logician? We explore the nuances of the liar’s paradox with a little stroll through Pinocchio (as pictured). On our trip, we also learn how to literally run the world with spherical geometry, go back in time to follow the journey of the great hero zero, and delve into some mystical mathemagic on the way (but unlike most magicians, I soon reveal my secrets). The cherry on top of this journey is a LIVE demonstration of some properties of the Möbius Strip, which involved lots of arts and crafts to produce some mind-boggling shapes!”

Math has something interesting for everyone, you just need to know where to look!
