I am a staff reporter/analyst at Interfax Global Energy, born in Barcelona and currently based in London. I cover European natural gas markets, pipeline projects and developments in the LNG sector.
I mostly follow developments in Central and Eastern Europe. I also keep a close eye on Western European markets, as well as EU policy developments and financing of gas infrastructure.
I am also an experienced moderator and speaker, who has participated in conferences organized by European institutions and organizations, including the European Commission and members of the European Parliament, and several local, national and international grassroots organizations - where I have successfully conducted events in five languages.
Before joining Interfax, I graduated from the College of Europe (Natolin campus, Warsaw), where I focused on the EU's neighbourhood and energy policies. My main research interests are energy diplomacy, EU energy security and EU-Russia-Ukraine (energy) relations, as my master's thesis examined Ukraine's energy diplomacy since 2014 and its future prospects after the 2019 presidential election.
I am passionate about the geopolitics of energy, a topic of which I researched in ESADE Center for Global Economy and Geopolitics. I have freelanced and contributed to national and international media, including Deutsche Welle, Agenda Pública (El País), TRT World, EUobserver and others.
Apart from English, I am fluent in Spanish, Catalan, French and Italian. I also have a basic knowledge of Dutch and am currently learning German.
